Your army, your skill
Battles are resolved by a real tactical engine — formation, terrain, facing, and doctrine all matter. Fight casually and get a fair game, or master the tactical layer and out-general opponents who don't.
Persistent-world realtime 4X
Command real armies in deep tactical battles. Delegate your realm to an AI steward when you log off. Come back to find your wars still being fought — by rivals who never stopped playing.
One army-commanding verb is mandatory. Everything else — cities, economy, the upgrade tree — is optional depth for players who want the edge.

Terregnum is mostly-PvP and always-on. Rival factions — human and AI — keep living, building, and fighting whether or not you're at the keyboard. Roving bandits and chaos portals give the quiet moments stakes too.
Offline, you lose periphery, never your heart. Your steward holds the line — border holdings can erode while you sleep, but core cities cannot fall in a single sleep cycle. Presence and good decisions win, not raw hours logged.
Land is instrumental, not a spreadsheet to maximize — it exists to forge, supply, and improve your armies, and to record how your wars have gone. Your legacy is the optional, rich layer on top.
The world is simulated end-to-end — every faction, every siege, every caravan. These are pulled straight from the current alpha build; tactical battle screens are coming as that view firms up.
